What Is MOPS?

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and exists to encourage, equip, and help moms become the best moms they can be!  We meet everyother Friday morning from nine to eleven.  Your children will be well taken care of by our wonderful caregivers.  You are welcome to keep babies with you.

What Do We Do?

At each of our meetings, moms enjoy a chance to socialize over brunch and a hot cup of coffee.  We have a short time for announcements, followed by either a speaker or creative activity, plus a small group discussion that allows you to get to know other moms.  Some of our speaker topics include, marriage, nutrition, family health, decorating, and meal planning on a budget.

Is There A Fee?

Your first meeting is FREE.  There is a $25 registraion fee for MOPS International.  This fee includes either a book or movie, weekly Mom-E-Mail and a subscription to MomSense Magazine.  There is also a $5 fee for each meeting.  This fee helps cover chilcare expenses, crafts, chidlren's crafts & snacks, speakers, and hospitality expenses.  Full or partial scholarships are available!  We want everyone to be able to attend MOPS!

CBS - Community Bible Study photo

CBS - Community Bible Study

Community Bible Study offers an interdenominational Bible study for women in our community. Meets Thursdays, 9:30-11:30 am at Calvary. Fall term begins September 10.
More Info

For over a quarter of a century, Community Bible Study has been helping people-from children to seniors-to grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.

We offer a wide range of courses in classes throughout the United States and welcome people from all backgrounds and levels of Bible knowledge.

Community Bible Study makes every effort to stand in the center of the mainstream of historic Christianity. We concentrate on the essentials of the Christian faith, not on denominational distinctives. As we grow in our love and respect for one another we learn that Christians can hold differing views on matters that are not essential to salvation. Regardless of these differences, we learn to love and care for each other as we grow in our knowledge of the Bible and in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
